Good Day Everyone!
It is with excitement and joy that we announce that Edward Muge won the 10,000m event yesterday in Nairobi at the Kenya National Championships. Edward had been working very hard for this opportunity and was blessed with a winning performance. His time of 27:52 was a personal best and his final lap was 
the difference maker. Congratulations Edward!!
Edward will now compete next week in the Olympic Trials for the Kenya team at the same distance.
The other members of AmeriKenyan Running Club set to run in the trials are Haron Lagat in the steeplechase and Rose Kosgei in the 10,000m event. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers for next weekend.
